Pa ham y digalonaf mwy?
Paham y digalona'i mwy?

(Crist yn Sancteiddrwydd)
Pa ham y digalonaf mwy?
  Gaiff pechod glwy' yn ebrwydd;
Er maint ei lid,
    er dued 11iw;
  Fy Iesu yw'm sancteiddrwydd.

Bedyddier fi â'r Ysbryd Glân,
  Fel tân galluog nerthol;
Caiff ysbryd bam
    a llosgfa fod,
  Ar bechod yn wastadol.

Caf gantho ddw'r,
    fy enaid cred,
  Dyr syched yn drag'wyddol;
O'm croth i'r lan, daw
    ffrwd ddidrai,
  I'm dwfrhau'n wastadol.

Nes i fy mhechod gael ei ladd,
  O radd i radd nes gorphen,
Fy llygredigaeth o bob rhyw,
  Can's Iesu yw fy nghadpen.

Fe duedda'm meddwl i bob cam,
  I frefu am fath burdeb;
Ag a feddiana'r seintiau bra'
  Sydd draw yn nhra'wyddoldeb.

Teyrnasa, O Dduw, a bwrw maes,
  D'elynion cas gwrthwyneb;
Ar f'enaid llesg rho'th ddelw'n llawn,
  Nes d'od i gyflawn burdeb.

Gwasgara weddill pechod câs,
  Sel fi â'th ras
      yn drigfan;
Berffaith hardd yn deml wiw,
  Adeilad Duw ei hunan.

(Christ as Sanctification)
Why shall I be downhearted any more?
  Sin shall quickly get beaten;
Despite its wrath,
    despite how black a colour;
  My Jesus is my sanctification.

May I be baptised with the Holy Spirit,
  Like a powerful, strong fire;
I shall get a spirit of judgment,
    that shall be a burning
  On sin constantly.

I shall get from him water,
    my soul believe,
  That shall quench thirst eternally;
Up from my belly shall come
    an unebbing stream,
  To water me constantly.

Until my sin gets killed,
  From degree to degree until finishing,
My corruption of every kind,
  Since Jesus is my Captain.

My thought tends, every step,
  To crave such purity;
As possess the good saints
  Who are yonder in eternity.

Reign, O God, and cast out,
  Thy enemies of detestable rebellion;
On my feeble soul put thy image fully,
  Until it come to full purity.

Squeeze the remnant of my detestable sin,
  Seal me with thy grace
      as a dwelling-place,
Perfectly beautiful as a worthy temple,
  The building of God himself.
May I be baptised :: Baptise me
